Katherine Community Radio is a community based radio station serving a population of approximately 10,000 in Katherine and the Tindal RAAF Base as well as the surrounding rural area. The town of Katherine is located some 300 km south of Darwin and is the third largest regional centre in the Northern Territory.

Katherine Community Radio broadcasts in stereo in the FM band with a radius of over 50 km and broadcasts 24 hours a day. The station is run by volunteers and depends on the support of our business community to generate sufficient funds to cover its operating costs.

Our listeners encompass all age groups and our musical format is as varied as our audience, reflecting the musical tastes of our presenters.
